Project Overview
Bespoke wedding invitation and stationery design for a destination wedding in Crete.
Brief
The brief was to create a beach-inspired wedding invitation suite for Olivia & Dominic’s destination wedding in Crete. The design needed to reflect both the coastal setting and the relaxed, shabby chic style of the venue, while capturing the couple’s personal aesthetic.
Solution
The concept focused on creating a soft, romantic design that reflects the natural beauty of the beach location. A carefully selected background was used to mirror the tones of the bridesmaids’ dresses, helping to create a cohesive visual theme across the wedding.
Floral elements were incorporated based on the couple’s chosen flowers, adding a personalised and elegant touch to the design. To enhance the rustic, handcrafted feel, each invitation was hand-finished with distressed rope, reinforcing the relaxed, beachside aesthetic.
In addition to the invitations, coordinating menu designs were created to ensure a consistent and cohesive visual identity across the wedding stationery.
Outcome
The final stationery suite captures the atmosphere and style of the wedding, combining elegance with a relaxed, rustic charm. The cohesive design and attention to detail created a memorable and personalised set of materials that complemented the setting and overall experience of the day.
